When You Get Your Notebook...
Before you can use your notebook computer you must login to it at least once while you are at the school and can connect to the school’s network.
1. Check the Wireless Ethernet Switch located on the front left edge of the notebook.
Towards the front is ON.
2. Turn on the notebook. The Wireless Ethernet lamp should light up.
3. Login to the notebook using your WPSC username and password.
This will create your user account on the notebook.
Once this has been completed you can either continue to use your machine or logout
and take it home.
4. Your notebook must be reconnected to the WPSC network at least once every 6
months or Windows Vista will automatically deactivate and you notebook will then
operate with significantly reduced functionality.
Students are reminded that the Wanganui Park “Internet Users Code of Conduct” agreement which they have signed in their Study Planner applies equally to the use of their notebook.
