Meg is a world renowned flautist who studied at the Conservatorium of Melbourne and the Canberra School of Music.
Meg started her professional career playing with Pro Arte Orchestra in Melbourne and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra and a foundation member of the Australian National Academy of Music.
Throughout her career Meg has won numerous awards. Meg has appeared as a concerto soloist with orchestras in Australia.
Meg has played Guest Principal Flute with most of Australia's leading orchestras, as well as holding a position with the New Zealand Symphony for one year. In 2002 Meg won a world-wide audition to become the Principal Flute in the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, a position she still holds today.
Meg also teaches at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, the Hong Kong Chinese University, and the Hong Kong Baptist University.
In 2011 Meg was invited to become a Foundation member of the Australian World Orchestra.
