Wanganui Park Secondary College was established in 1975 and since then the school has developed an outstanding reputation based on innovation, creativity and a genuine care for all students and staff.
Our aim is to provide progressive and inspiring education for every student, encouraging each
one to have high expectations and to provide the guidance and support required to enable them to achieve their goals.
Currently we have an enrolment of 1250 students, working within a vertical Home Group structure. This grouping enables a genuine sense of belonging and also fosters the development of student leadership across different year levels.
Between Years 8 to
10 a distinctive feature of our school is the Vertical Modular Grouping (VMG) of subjects, which allows a responsive and flexible approach to student learning needs.
There is something about our school that is hard to define, but you can feel it. The vitality and passion of our teachers and support staff, together with the positive relationships on display at every level, make us proud of our school community.
Our doors are always open and we encourage you to contact us to arrange a visit.
