Inducted in to WPSC Hall of Fame 2008 for her contribution to Medicine and Business:
Sharon was Dux of Wanganui Park Secondary College in 1976.
In 1975 Sharon applied for an International Science Scholarship through Sydney University and was one of only 10 Victorians to be selected. The program opened Sharon's mind to "Real" science where renowned scientists challenged the traditional sciences and found ways to validate theories. This was the time that Sharon knew she wanted to be a research scientist.
Melbourne University beckoned and Sharon completed a Bachelor of Science, graduating in 1981 and worked for some time in the Pharmaceutical Industry. In 1983 Sharon moved to the United Kingdom to further their studies, she completed her Masters at Selford University and later a Doctorate in Philosophy at Victoria University in Manchester.
In the early 1990's Sharon became interested in career coaching and followed this alongside her professional work. After completing market research and analysis Sharon gave up a secure professional career to develop a business called 'Orros Careers', which later became 'Clarity Now'.
Clarity Now is a very successful business with clients across Australia and overseas and provides individually tailored programs for clients to enable them to get the best in their careers and life.
